About Pay 2023 has officially been released. Since 2016, Novare Pay Consulting has annually published About Pay in Sweden, a report that provides an independent analysis of remuneration to senior executives and board members in companies listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

The report includes information regarding the following:

• Remuneration, levels, and development of CEO, other senior executives, and the board of directors.
• Remuneration composition (distribution between pay components).
• Focus studies examining ESG in variable pay plans and the impact of the current market condition on share prince-related option schemes.

The report aims to provide an independent remuneration analysis to senior executives in Swedish listed companies. The report can be used as a basis for public discussions or by individual companies interested in executive pay practices amongst publicly listed companies.

The report primarily refers to the financial years 2022 and 2023 and contains published information from public sources. The sample includes 363 companies listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
