Since 2016, Novare Pay Consulting have annually published About Pay in Sweden, a report that provides an independent analysis of remuneration to senior executives and board members in companies listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. 2022 we launch the first edition of About Pay in Norway, reviewing companies listed on Oslo Stock Exchange.

The report includes information regarding:

• Remuneration, levels and development, of CEO, CFO, other senior executives as well as board of directors.
• Remuneration composition (distribution between pay components).
• Focus studies examining ESG in variable pay plans and impact of current market condition on share prince related option schemes.

The aim with the report is to provide an independent analysis of remuneration to senior executives in Norwegian listed companies. The report can be used as a basis for public discussions or by individual companies interested in executive pay practice amongst public listed companies.

The report primarily refers to the financial year 2021 and contains published information from public sources. The sample includes 142 companies listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange (Oslo Børs) 2021.
